I think that anyone that launches hogs in halo 1 has been through that, the first time it happened to me i stopped playing halo 1 for a week (instead i tried and actually succeeded in gettig the os sg). Sry that really sux, any time we screw up a launch, we get a checkpoint while the hog is in mid-air, any time we succeed, we dont get a checkpoint, or its OBGJFIOYO. Sry.

Actually it's kind of your guy's fault it happens, not to be mean. Once you get the final checkpoint you want, save and quit. Resume your game, and if you get a checkpoint don't save and quit, just power off your xbox.

We all know how that works in co-op. I do it all the time.
