I'm stoked. Just from the ViDoc all the features I heard about and worried me, such as the bubble shield, look REALLY well implimented, and I'm not as worried now. : )

I'm glad we have the new H2 maps to glitch/hold us over.

Did anyone else notice the skin for the sniper is the same as the one from H1. With the green screen on the scope instead of what your actually looking at?

dude, that vidoc was awesome. like there were mines, u could see the spiker gun and grenade thingy, and the buble shield. cool new maps and graphics. the slow mo thing is awesome!!!! although i got info about halo 2 vista that it will have a map editor from gamespot, will halo 3?

oh, i got 2 questions btw, will the 2 new maps, desolation etc come out with halo 2 vista as well? and will the pistol, smg and battle rifle still be in halo 3 as well as the assualt rifle? ps, wat will the "X" button do god dam it! :D

this vid gives us questions but answers alot.

the x button has 3 uses. from what i seen:

bubble shield (pick-up) ..replacing overshield maybe
trip mine (pick-up) ..warthog killer
grav lift (pick-up) ..like the alien sniper tower in relic

i hope the bubble shield doesnt move with you, maybe it rolls down a hill with you but not exactly attached. i wonder if it can be activated while in a vehicle.

I don't think you drop them, there just placed on the map.

The whole go back and replay from different camera angles and slo-mo is going to be great for tricking. The vids are going to be awesome with the slo-mo and cool camera angles, and you wont have to capture the trick as it happens, just at the end of the game, so lots of saved hard-drive space for the filmers :D

If you look at the forum posts on Bungie, frankie said that the X button is for "Deploying equipment".

WOW... just wow. That looks amazing even for beta. I guess we now know that the X button deploys the rolling bubble sheild and trip mines, that's really cool. The mp map at the city/suburbs looks sweet too. OMG cant wait til Nov.

Those are dev kits, not 360 Elites.

I will be awesome but.. (ye a but on halo 3 never knew i was going to say that O_o) For a next gen game the graphics aren't really great like the mc that lands in the water no splashing and stuff will that be fixed when the real game comes out? I still think it looks awesome and its a must have for every real gamer =P

Maybe thats because you were looking at the Alpha footage, Bungie said the beta graphics will look much better then the graphics in the Vidoc.

I have a feeling the X button is going to be used alot with glitches launches and such. Alpha beta is overated.
